Hello again, readers! I hope you all are well! Happy summer vacation, to those of you who have completed your spring semester of school! As I have just completed my first full year of being a college student, I wanted to take an opportunity to reflect on the things I wish I knew before college. For most, college is the first time “adulting,” if you will, and that comes with a learning curve. The struggles I discovered this year and worked towards solving aid in my understanding of what it is to live, as I continue to discover more.

Hello again, readers! I hope you all are well! Today, as I am in the midst of my final exams, I wanted to offer advice on burnout. In most college experiences, one experiences burnout. That can take on many different shapes: being tired of classwork, socialization, extra-curriculars, or just an overall lack of motivation. Every college student struggles with burnout to various extents. So, it is important to acknowledge and take care of.

I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you, readers, about the show I am performing in this semester. I play Moses, Mollie, Minimus, Pilkington, and others in Animal Farm, adapted by Ian Wooldridge, based on the book by George Orwell, and directed by Rebecca Conaway ’23! This dramatization remains faithful to the book’s plot and intent and retains both its affection for the animals and the insightfulness of its message.

Hello again, friends! I hope all of you are doing well! Here at UE, we are over halfway through the semester. In the midst of frequent homework, lots of projects, tech weeks, looming finals, and the summer beyond, it can all seem like a lot to handle. I am confident in the knowledge that I am not alone in the feeling of being over inundated with various things, from both my fellow peers at UET and you, readers. So, that said, I wanted to share with you various tips and tricks that have helped me manage my time in my first year of college.

As spring break approaches for the University of Evansville, one annual event that brings forth a host of both UE and UET perspective students is Road Trip. Road Trip is a weekend where current seniors in high school that are either looking into UE or are committed to UE may come visit, take mock classes, live in a dorm with a current student host, and get a feel for what campus life is like!

Hello, BroadwayWorld readers! My name is Alyssa Meadows and I am honored and excited to be a student blogger for this season! I am a first year theatre performance major at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana! I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky, where I grew up with my mom, dad, younger brother, and pet rabbit named Tootsie Roll!
