First Show:

Wicked! When I was twelve, my dad surprised my mom and I with tickets to a Saturday matinee of Wicked while in New York. Not only did this show kickstart my middle school obsession with musical theater (and thus, my current theatrical pursuits), but it provided me an important memory of both of my parents.

Favorite Show:

Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812! The score of this show still brings me to tears almost ten years after first discovering it. In my opinion, this show represents musical theater at its finest, as it features brilliant music, acting range, emotional catharsis, costume and set design, and a blend of modern and classic theatrical elements.
