St. Dunstan’s Theatre Guild has announced its upcoming production of PUFFS, a play by Matt Cox. Directed by Kevin Fitzhenry (Grosse Pointe Woods), PUFFS is a fast-paced, clever parody that offers a new perspective on a familiar wizarding world, seen through the eyes of the 'Puffs,' a group of lovable, underdog students with a knack for not being in the spotlight.

The Alliance Theatre has announced that Kendrick Smith has been chosen as the new Chair of its Board of Directors for a term of two years. 

Two-time Tony Award® nominee Rob McClure will say goodbye to the title role of Daniel Hillard/Euphegenia Doubtfire on October 13, 2024, after originating the role and earning a Tony nomination for his performance. He will have played over 400 performances with the show.   

 Producer Eric Krebs and Mark Saltzman, Emmy Award-winner and author of Romeo and Bernadette, will present industry readings of The Brat of Stratford: William Shakespeare’s Cabaret of Stories, Songs and Scenes, written and directed by Mark Saltzman, starring Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli.

Florida Studio Theatre has announced that Gulf Coast Community Foundation (Gulf Coast) has awarded the regional theatre a $65,000 Empowering Arts Grant Award, funded through the Mildred and Garrett Eelman Charitable Fund at Gulf Coast Community Foundation.

Now in its fifth year of producing one-act plays by local playwrights, the Delray Beach Playhouse’s Festival of New Plays 2024 will be held on October 19th and 20th. Ten one-act plays by local playwrights, helmed by local directors, and read by local actors, will showcase the diverse and talented South Florida theatrical community.  The event will take place at the Delray Beach Playhouse.
