Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd Artistic Director and Tristan Wilson Managing Director, welcomed back award-winning singer/songwriter Michele Brourman and Heather Mac Rae with Love & Take Out, for two performances September 21 at 9:30pm and September 22 at 7:30pm at Mr. Finn's Cabaret, located on the lower level of the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center, 36 Linden Street, Pittsfield.

ScoBar Entertainment and Iridium NYC last night presented a one-night-only Tribute to Ervin Drake. The evening celebrated the life and music of legendary 94-year-old American songwriter whose works include Great American Songbook standards such as 'It Was A Very Good Year,' which was popularized by Frank Sinatra. Drake, who was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1983 also wrote the songs 'I Believe,' 'Good Morning Heartache,' 'Tico-Tico,' 'Perdido,' 'Now I Have Everything,' 'A Room without Windows,' 'AL DI LA,' & 'Quando Quando.' He is also the composer and lyricist of the 1964 Broadway show, What Makes Sammy Run.

Following an unprecedented thirty show run, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, the acclaimed and award-winning cabaret series, continued on Sunday, Sept 15 at 54 Below. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the third year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010.

Currently starring in Broadway's Motown: The Musical as Teena Marie and others, Morgan James brought her smoky and soulful renditions of songs from her debut CD to 54 Below. Check out photos fromt the concert below!

Just last night, musical comedienne & impressionist Christine Pedi (NEWSical the Musical, Forbidden Broadway, Chicago) brought her favorite funny friends together to shake & stir up some hysterical comedy concoctions (musical & otherwise) at 54 Below. Silly songs and other diversions from some of the wildest wits on & off Broadway make it an incredibly happy hour & late night laugh lounge.

75 - year old singer Tonia Tecce has made her long-delayed New York City cabaret debut last night at The Metropolitan Room. Previously, Tecce has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Philadelphia's Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts Academy of Music, and sung with Peter Nero and many orchestras . Her show, A Cockeyed Optimist, Why We Believe, The Songs of Richard Rodgers, was written and directed by Michael Bush.

Music continues at Le Cirque on Mondays. The world famous restaurant has an exciting line up of cabaret and Jazz artists appearing in their cafe every Monday starting at 7:30 PM. This week, Danny Bacher was featured.

Continuing through September 28, two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster returns to the Cafe Carlyle (The Carlyle Hotel - 35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue) for a series of concert performances. Keith Lockhart led the Boston Pops in an evening concert in the Shed on August 16, with celebrated pianist, vocalist, and archivist of the great American Songbook, Michael Feinstein. The evening featured some of the most beloved tunes in the American songbook repertoire. Special guests included Broadway and television star Cheyenne Jackson and actress and singer Faith Prince.
