On Friday night, December 18, the New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, presented an evening full of holiday cheer at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with help from Tony award nominees Stephanie J. Block and Brian d'Arcy James.

Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke announced to a sold out open working rehearsal audience that there were only 4 tickets left for tonights New York Pops It's Christmas Time In The City Concert. Stephanie J. Block, Brian d'Arcy James, and Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA are featured along with The New York Pops Orchestra. Over 5,000 New Yorkers will be able to attend the concerts on December 18th & 19th at Carnegie Hall.

Last night KT Sullivan & Jeff Harnar concluded their Sondheim Review titled Act Two, Another Hundred Years at The Laurie Beecham Theatre and BroadwayWorld was there.

Michele Lee, Jessica Molaskey, Mandy Gonzalez and Marcy Heisler were among the many Broadway celebrities that were at Feinstein's/54 Below last night for Andrea Burns final night of her successful engagement at Broadway's Supper Club. BroadwayWorld was there.

LIFE the charitable organization based in Palm Beach had it's 22nd Annual 'Lady In Red' Gala in Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach Florida and Broadwayworld was there. America's Got Talent Howie Mandel starred in the event which also featured Will & Anthony Nunziata, the Palm Beach Symphony and the Sultans of Swing.  

Last night Cafe Carlyle welcomed back GRAMMY Award-winner Steve Tyrell for a four-week engagement and BroadwayWorld was there for opening night. The renowned singer returns with a new show, One More For The Road, featuring a full set of Sinatra favorites in celebration of Ol' Blue Eyes' 100th birthday. It's a fitting tribute since it was actually a Sinatra song, 'The Way You Look Tonight,' that Tyrell sang in the 1991 movie, Father of the Bride, which launched his career as a singer. Years later, the Sinatra family handpicked Tyrell to perform 'Fly Me To The Moon' at the Hollywood Bowl, with Quincy Jones conducting the orchestra, when the Chairman was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2005. Tyrell's ties to the Sinatra family remain tight as he was once again asked to host a three-hour celebration on Siriusly Sinatra on Frank's actual birthday, December 12. He will be live from Patsy's for Sirius XM radio, just as he did in 2014.

Tony Award winner Lena Hall, star of Hedwig and the Angry Inch is making her FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW solo debut and BroadwayWorld was there for one of the scheduled 10 performance run. Check out the photos below.

The Milton Berle Room heard the sounds of past Friars, Louis Armstrong, Louis Jordan, and Louis Prima last night as Danny Bacher brought his show Swing That Music to the club.  BroadwayWorld was there for the fun.  The club has been home to many of the music world's past legends and Danny Bacher's music added to that storied tradition. Joining Danny for the evenings music and comedy were comedian Marla Schultz and jazz vocalist Alexis Cole along with Danny's 7 piece band.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series presented Tony Award-winning actress/singer CHRISTINE EBERSOLE and Grammy Award-winning composer/pianist/singer BILLY STRITCH in 'Our Favorite Things' last night and BroadwayWorld was there.  

For her annual Thanksgiving week show at 54 Below, Callaway crafted an exciting world premiere night of music centered on the songs of women songwriters who have inspired her. BroadwayWorld was there along with Michael Feinstein, Ginny Mancinni, Arlene Dahl, Clint Holmes, Marc Cherry and others. Billie Holiday's 'God Bless the Child,' Carole King's 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow?', and Dorothy Field's 'The Way You Look Tonight' are among the gems carefully chosen by he Platinum-selling composer and lyricist. Classics by Peggy Lee, Joni Mitchell, and Cynthia Weil, as well as songs by friends Michelle Brourman and Amanda McBroom reflect the unique female perspective on love, life, and the pursuit of happiness.

Many celebrities attended the 2015 Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic Gala at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, and BroadwayWorld was there too! Check out photos below!

Tamara Tunie  celebrated a variety of composers and singers at Feinstein's/54 Below last night and Broadwayworld was there. The 'MASH UP', included her favorites fromLEGENDS from the BURGH and her debut cabaret performance YES, I SING!, that not even hurricane Sandy could prevent from being a huge success! If you missed it, it's a MUST SEE! One critic wrote: 'Tunie not only entertained, she helped restore the sparkle to a city known for its resiliency.'

Sometimes there are shows below 54th street that make you want to come up above street level and shout....'hey everybody, come down here, you gotta see this'. That's the type of evening Our Guy Cy is. Composer Cy Coleman wrote some of the greatest Broadway tunes you will ever hear and they have been brilliantly selected and packaged in a show conceived & directed by Will Nunziata and produced by Wayne J. Gmitter.
