Seattle Center Winterfest College Performance Weekend features choral, dance and music ensembles from five western Washington universities, Dec. 3 - 5, on the Main Stage at Center House.

The 2010 - 2011 National Tour of HANDEL'S MESSIAH ROCKS: A JOYFUL NOISE is coming to Raleigh's Memorial Auditorium for one performance only, during this limited holiday engagement.HANDEL'S MESSIAH ROCKS: A JOYFUL NOISE , the groundbreaking musical event that blends classical music with classic rock and breathes new life into George Fredrick Handel's most performed oratorio, will play Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, November 20 at 7 p.m.

In December 2010, Four Seasons Theatre (FST), in partnership with Madison Theatre Guild, will present a 10th anniversary production of The Spitfire Grill, a musical with Wisconsin roots. Written by American Folklore Theatre's Fred Alley and James Valcq, THE SPITFIRE GRILL is the story of Percy, a feisty parolee who follows her dreams to a small town in Wisconsin. As the story unfolds, each resident of Gilead learns the true meaning of friends, family, and home.

On December 3rd, Scott Alan will be joined by some of the performers featured on 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' for a concert at Barnes and Nobles at Lincoln Triangle. Those scheduled to appear include Christiane Noll, Darius de Haas, Nikki Renee Daniels, Zak Resnick and Christopher Sieber, along with musical director Jesse Vargas. Due to sold-out capacity crowds at the Masonic Temple, Michigan's largest roller derby league, the Detroit Derby Girls, announced today it will play its 2010-11 season at Cobo Arena to accommodate the league's growing fan base.

Philadelphia Theatre Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathleen Kund Nolan as Interim Managing Director. Nolan replaces Diane Claussen who has moved to Chicago to assume the position of Managing Director at Northwestern University's Theatre and Interpretation Center.

David Sedaris' THE SANTALAND DIARIES is coming to PlayhouseSquare's intimate 14th Street Theatre this holiday season. The Santaland Diaries, the retelling of best-selling author David Sedaris' unique experience in the throes of the holidays, will be produced by Cleveland Public Theatre in 14th Street Theatre, November 26 through December 19, 2010.

Following the sold out performances and overflow crowds at its first two Cino Nights presentations (of Gary Sunshine's BEST SEX EVER and Mando Alvarado's (O)N THE 5:31), Rising Phoenix Rep continued the series November 7th with Courtney Baron's HERE I LIE which was performed by Denis Butkus and Samantha Soule to a sold out house. In this two-character play, 'Maris and Joseph have made their beds and now have to lie in them. Two people connected by illness, loneliness, and the need to be understood, they navigate the murky waters of subjective truth. If you believe it, can you make it true?' The production was directed by Rising Phoenix Rep artistic director Daniel Talbott.

Tickets for Cameron Mackintosh's new 25th anniversary production of LES MISERABLES are now on sale for the premiere Philadelphia engagement at the Academy of Music beginning January 4- 15, 2011. The Philadelphia engagement will mark the first official stop on the multi-city national tour. The all new production of LES MISERABLES features glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. The Kelsey Players present a beloved musical adaptation of Clement Moore's TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. This winter, Diana Amsterdam's CARNIVAL ROUND THE CENTRAL FIGURE brings the macabre back to New York City. In a staging by Karen Kohlhaas reminiscent of the carnal exorbitance of carnivale's heyday, featuring a cast of characters pulled straight from the murky depths of the human psyche. Carnival is a hilarious, bizarre, and poignant story of the meaning of death, of dying with dignity, and the ancient dilemma of living for a life after death. Comedy, drama and dance are all on the upcoming performance schedule for Theatre and Dance students at Mercer County Community College. In their first production of the fall semester, students will perform Howard Korder's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, BOY'S LIFE. This heterosexual coming-of-age black comedy will be performed Friday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at MCCC's Studio Theatre, located next to Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
