In December 2010, Four Seasons Theatre (FST), in partnership with Madison Theatre Guild, will present a 10th anniversary production of The Spitfire Grill, a musical with Wisconsin roots. Written by American Folklore Theatre's Fred Alley and James Valcq, THE SPITFIRE GRILL is the story of Percy, a feisty parolee who follows her dreams to a small town in Wisconsin. As the story unfolds, each resident of Gilead learns the true meaning of friends, family, and home.

On December 3rd, Scott Alan will be joined by some of the performers featured on 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' for a concert at Barnes and Nobles at Lincoln Triangle. Those scheduled to appear include Christiane Noll, Darius de Haas, Nikki Renee Daniels, Zak Resnick and Christopher Sieber, along with musical director Jesse Vargas. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Saturday, November 13 for the U.S. premiere of the National Theatre of Great Britain's critically acclaimed sensation WAR HORSE, based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo and adapted by Nick Stafford with Handpring Puppet Company with direction by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris. Produced in New York by Lincoln Center Theater and the National Theatre of Great Britain in association with Bob Boyett, WAR HORSE will begin performances on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 with an opening night scheduled for Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will present the Midwest Premiere of TORONTO, MISSISSIPPI by Joan MacLeod at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan. It will open Thursday, November 11th, 2010 at 8 p.m. and run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday. There will be no performance on Thursday, November 25th. There will be previews on Tuesday and Wednesday November 9th and 10th at 8 p.m. Tickets for previews are $5. We will close on Sunday, December 19th, 2010 at 7 p.m. There is parking available in the Mobil Gas Station across from the theater at a fee determined by Mobil Gas. Following the sold out performances and overflow crowds at its first two Cino Nights presentations (of Gary Sunshine's BEST SEX EVER and Mando Alvarado's (O)N THE 5:31), Rising Phoenix Rep continued the series November 7th with Courtney Baron's HERE I LIE which was performed by Denis Butkus and Samantha Soule to a sold out house. In this two-character play, 'Maris and Joseph have made their beds and now have to lie in them. Two people connected by illness, loneliness, and the need to be understood, they navigate the murky waters of subjective truth. If you believe it, can you make it true?' The production was directed by Rising Phoenix Rep artistic director Daniel Talbott.

Carnival is a hilarious, bizarre, and poignant story of the meaning of death, of dying with dignity, and the ancient dilemma of living for a life after death. Comedy, drama and dance are all on the upcoming performance schedule for Theatre and Dance students at Mercer County Community College. In their first production of the fall semester, students will perform Howard Korder's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, BOY'S LIFE. This heterosexual coming-of-age black comedy will be performed Friday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at MCCC's Studio Theatre, located next to Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
