There was never any doubt Sheri Tor would grow up to be a writer. On her first day of kindergarten the teacher went around the room asking all of her little charges what they wanted to be when they grew up. There were the usual responses...fireman, baseball player, ballerina?..until it was Sheri's turn. Her response? 'Published.' Attending the University of South Florida in pursuit of majors in finance, economics, accounting, psychology, and literature gave Sheri the knowledge she needed to start several companies under the umbrella firm of Tor, Inc. - for which she functions as President/CEO - but writing has always remained her passion. Her website, www.sheritor.com, displays some of her current stage/screen projects. Sheri has also done some acting/directing and currently divides time between Florida and her native Manhattan. (Although 'the smell of the greasepaint and the roar of the crowd' are mighty strong selling points and it won't be long before she returns to New York on a permanent basis!)
