Shelby-Allison Hibbs

Shelby-Allison Hibbs Shelby-Allison Hibbs is a director and award winning writer, and currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Dallas. In her three brief years in Dallas, she has worked with Artstillery (co-founder), Echo Theatre, Dead White Zombies, Cry Havoc Theatre, Dallas Theater Center, WaterTower Theatre, Nouveau47, Shakespeare Dallas, Dallas Children’s Theatre, and Capers for Kids. She has worked as a Teaching Artist and Director with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and The Berkshire Theatre Group. New York credits include premieres with Slant Theatre Project, CTown, Target Margin Theatre, Edge in Motion, Adrienne Westwood, and Robert Wilson. While in New York, she interned with The Wooster Group and Jim Findlay’s BOTANICA. She is a contributor for Theater Jones and has been published in HowlRound, Ecumenica, Dallas Observer, and Texas Theater Journal.
