For A CHRISTMAS CAROL EXPERIENCE like you have never seen before, I highly recommend the way that Fairfield Center Stage and The Fairfield Museum bring you this classic story. In Fairfield's Burr Mansion the audience follows the story from room to room, watching this extremely talented cast act out this classic tale.

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre, in Bridgeport, CT has assembled a first-rate cast for ANNIE, their finest production of 2018! I highly recommend this show to all audiences. The singing, dancing, choreography, and acting are all amazing and reflect incredible effort and hard work from an enthusiastic and highly talented cast.

GLITZ! THE LITTLE MISS CHRISTMAS PAGEANT MUSICAL is an excellent musical comedy with an extremely talented cast of both adults and youth. The music is original and of high quality. The comedy is legitimately funny and the cast enjoy playing their roles as much as the audience enjoys watching them perform. I highly recommend this production.

WINDER WONDERETTES is playwright Roger Bean's new sequel to his previous hit jukebox musical comedy The Marvelous Wonderettes, which the Castle Craig Players produced last year.  The same brilliant director Ian Galligan brings back the same four extremely talented actresses who gel together with tighter harmonies and stronger stage chemistry than many touring bands have ever attained.  Chelsea Dacey, Emma Czaplinski, Jessica Engster, and Jennifer Del Sole reprise their roles of Suzy, Missy, Betty Jean, and Cindy Lou, respectively.  Musical director Chris Coffee leads the three piece backstage live band that accompanies the singers, enhancing the quality of this show that is marvelous all around with excellent acting, singing, dancing, and stage antics.

The classic IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE retains its strong emotional impact when presented in radio play format. This excellent group of radio players at the Ridgefield Theater Barn have truly done justice to one of the greatest fictional stories ever written.

On Friday, November 23, 2018, I had the pleasure of seeing CLEVER LITTLE LIES, yet another first-rate show at the Connecticut Cabaret Theatre in Berlin, CT.  This play, written by Joe DiPietro contains both comedy and drama, categories that are often difficult to effectively merge, yet combine flawlessly here, due to the excellent acting of all four talented cast members who shine in their respective roles, under the strong direction of Kris McMurray.

Seven Angels Theatre has produced an excellent show about two feuding roommates in a senior living facility who place a bet with each other, each hoping that if she wins, her experience at the facility will improve. To what extreme will each one go to win? Come to the show to find out?

THE CHRISTMAS ELF 2 continues with the Downtown Cabaret Children's Theatre's tradition of providing a blend of entertainment that reaches the entire family.

For strong performances all around in a well known and emotionally moving tale, I highly recommend BEAUTY AND THE BEAST as produced by the Opera House Players in Enfield, CT. This is the perfect cast for this amazing production.

THE RAT PACK LOUNGE is a highly entertaining fictional musical comedy about Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr. The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre has yet again produced a first-rate show with the perfect cast for the roles they perform.

Beatles Music is performed in a well written and performed show called Beat Bugs, suitable for the entire family, and a must see for Beatles fans, especially those who are astute at noticing lyrical references.

The Downtown Cabaret Children's Theatre has once again produced a musical that is entertaining for the entire family. LITTLE WITCHES has a compelling storyline and a talented cast, continuing with the consistent top quality of the Downtown Cabaret Children's Theater in Bridgeport, CT.

The ACT of Connecticut has successfully followed up their debut show, "Mamma Mia," with another well known musical, EVITA, and like with "Mamma Mia," has staged a far superior production than anywhere else I have seen this show! 

Incredible voices mixed with excellent song selections across various musical genres combined with personality based clean humor makes THE JERSEY TENORS a show that I highly recommend.

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport kicks off its new season with LEGALLY BLONDE, a comedic musical that features an ensemble cast a numerous highlights in terms of music, dancing, and comedy.

For a great musical comedy by a very talented cast, the Ridgefield Theater Barn delivers another first-rate show with URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL. This ensemble cast is extremely talented and bring their best efforts to this incredible show!

Brian Noonan of THE JERSEY TENORS speaks of an extremely promising two act show that incorporates unique arrangements of rock songs collided with opera. THE JERSEY TENORS is scheduled at the Ridgefield Playhouse for one night only, September 22, at 8:00 PM.

Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson from Little House on the Prairie) and Carter Calvert portray Louise Seger and Patsy Cline, respectively, in the Ted Swindley comedic musical entitled ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE, which is based on a true story that has humor that can be appreciated both by major Patsy Cline fans and people who never heard of her. I highly recommend this comedy.

The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre has yet again put forth a great comedy called SOCIAL SECURITY. The show is guaranteed to generate laughs through excellent acting with a talented cast that gels together like a real family.
