On September 20 Fawning will release their debut EP Too Late on NeverNotGoth a brand new subsidiary from Graveface Records (Casket Girls, Xiu Xiu, Appleseed Cast, Tokyo Shoegazer etc). The NeverNotGoth label will reissue obscure darkwave/industrial/goth gems but will also release new artists and Fawning's EP is available to pre-order HERE. Today Fawning shared the title track from the EP with Post-Punk Magazine and the song can be shared at Bandcamp orSoundcloud. About the song the band told Post-Punk ''Too Late' was the first song that we finished together. The lyrics are mostly about being so invested and in love in a relationship, that the other person could really do nothing wrong and even if they did, you wouldn't be able to leave. But it also just words because they sounded good.'

The Country Music Hall of Fame member's long-time touring band, consisting of Steve Hinson, David Johnson, Lance Dary, Bill Cook, Joe Van Dyke and Herb Shucher along with longtime tour manager Jeff Davis will rejoin “Hoss,” as they affectionately call Travis, on the road for the first time since right before his stroke in 2013. At age 20 singer-songwriter Lori Lieberman wrote the poem that became the iconic hit song “Killing Me Softly.” She recorded it in 1971 and was enthusiastically embraced by the singer-songwriter world which led to touring with notable artists including Randy Newman, Leonard Cohen and John Sebastian.  

Variety reports that family comedy 'The Detour' has been canceled at TBS. The series starred Jason Jones, Natalie Zea, Ashley Gerasimovich, Liam Caroll, and Danielle Pineda; Jones created the show with Samantha Bee.

Never Look Away, the 9th album from Daniel Martin Moore, finds the artist expanding, experimenting, and having fun in the studio.  Co-produced by multi-instrumentalist Seth Kauffman, the recordings are candid, unfussed-over, and full of energy and light.  “Seth is a wonder.  I've admired his work for years, and it was a joy to bring this batch of songs to life with him,” said DMM.  Kauffman is best-known for being the man-behind-the-band Floating Action, playing nearly all of the instruments, producing, recording, and mixing the albums himself.  (In his spare time, he plays on the albums and in the touring bands of Jim James, Ray Lamontagne, and many others.)
