Written in North Wales and later completed at their homes in Utah, “Into The Blue” arrives self-assured and forthright, in a world still trying to regain its footing, stalked by the specters of manipulation, mis-information, and trepidation.

Joseph, originally hailing from rural upstate New York, first found his musical voice in the cello. After engrossing himself in the instrument for years and ranking among the top 10 youth cellists in New York State, it was his Great Aunt who introduced Joseph to folk music as a teen.

Riot Ten has kept the same intense momentum going into 2021, releasing singles, “Poppin” with CHRMNDRS, featuring Krystall Poppin, as well as “Get Out” with STARX, featuring vocalist Blupill and rapper Dopeboylo.

‘Heartless’ opens on a subdued melody, easing the track to a calm beginning. As added percussion and atmospheric synths enter the mix, ‘Heartless’ begins to fit the mold of a radio-ready pop track, complete with an ultra catchy vocal hook.

Speaking on the new single, Knowles says, “Honestly I just wanted to write a really happy song with this one. Usually, my songs have sad undertones, so I felt like it was time to write one that was just happy and felt good all the way through.'

The seven-song collection features live versions of songs that appear on his recently released solo debut album along with covers of Nirvana's 'Heart-Shaped Box' and Billie Eilish's 'when the party's over.' The EP is available to stream or purchase below.

On the new EP, the band shares, “The Old Things EP tackles the subject of loss and the complicated feelings that come along with it. It’s an up-beat pop punk record that any late 20-30 something can relate to. We like to play loud and want you guys in the front row, with fists in the air, screaming along with us.” 

The project began when, in 2005, Deni relocated to San Francisco from New Jersey, after living with the aftermath of the sudden and tragic death of his sister, and then the equally unexpected death of his father a year later.

“It’s a rebellion to this idea that you have to wait for the things you need,” Murphy says of the new track. “It felt like we were being sold tomorrow and we were paying for today. I was saying, ‘Fuck your tomorrow, we deserve our lives now.’”

On the inspiration behind her debut project, Jayde shares, “With the way society works and the way the world is, I think we are conditioned to think that happiness is this ethereal state of being, and that happiness is a choice.'
