Milford Arts Council and Coastal Arts Guild of Connecticut are calling all artists to explore relationships as expressed in patterns, reflections, and color in an exhibition called Relativity. Open to 2 or 3-dimensional artwork in all mediums, this exhibit will be held from June 27th through July 21st, with an opening reception on June 27th 5:30-7pm. Cash awards for first, second and third place winners will be given at this time. 

The Slipper Room, the celebrated variety theatre in Manhattan's Lower East Side, has announced the line-up for their Spring season, presenting a full calendar of regular weekly in-house productions in addition to guest shows, concerts and one-nighters. 

Jesse B. Langston presents Lezzie With A 'Z', the one-woman show that is an homage to Liza Minnelli's 1972 filmed theatrical production Liza With A 'Z' that puts a new twist on classic Broadway tunes to tell an autobiographical story of being gay-married and gay-divorced by age 27.

Derby Dinner Playhouse will present NEWSIES, opening April 3 and running through May 19, 2019. Inspired by the true story of New York City's 1899 newsboy strike, "NEWSIES" tells the captivating story of a band of underdogs who become unlikely heroes when they stand up to the most powerful men in New York in a remarkable fight for justice and fair pay.

One Man, Two Guvnors will open Friday, April 12 at the Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP).  The show will run in the Hawks Mainstage Theatre from April 12 through May 5, 2019.  Performances will be held Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

The "United Nations" of music, Silkroad Ensemble celebrates its 20th anniversary with an entirely new multi-media, evening-length work that unpacks the magnitude of being fearlessly human in the face of incompatible obligations.  Heroes Take Their Stands, both the name of the program and an ambitious multimedia commission project, is performed on Sunday, April 28 at 7:00pm at the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts (The Soraya).

This month Washington Ensemble Theatre (WET) will present a limited engagement of Singlet, a critically acclaimed new theatre work by the genre-defying performer and creator Erin Markey. Singlet is the inaugural show in The GUSH Series, WET's new program that presents theatrical works from outside Seattle that are curated by the Ensemble and performed on its mainstage.

Coventry's Belgrade Theatre will be seeing in the summer with the hits of the 80s when sun-soaked musical Club Tropicana hits the Midlands this May.

Their May 8 concert, From Song Came Symphony, will explore the symphonic influence of composer Harry T. Burleigh, whose legacy is often tied to the concertization of the American spiritual. He is also increasingly credited as influencing some of the spiritual-inspired thematic material for the 'New World Symphony' and 'American String Quartet' of Antonin Dvorak. The Burleigh Society, which advances studies of black art music through scholarship and performance, hopes to broaden audiences' understanding of Burleigh's foundational contributions to American classical music.

STOMP, the international percussion sensation, will return to Washington, D.C's National Theatre from April 23 - 28, 2019. From its beginnings as a street performance in the UK, STOMP has grown into an international sensation over the past 25 years, having performed in more than 50 countries and in front of more than 24 million people.

Summer in Downtown Pittsburgh means soaring temperatures, baseball, and the return of The Second City to The Public. This time the hilarious Chicago troupe will take the stage in Greatest Hits, Volume 59, celebrating The Second City's 60 years of being the funniest people on the planet. Greatest Hits, Volume 59 runs for three performances only at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District.

Audrey II is growing stronger! This anticipated staging taking place inside Bool's Flower Shop in Ithaca, NY has extended its run by three performances. Originally announced to run from April 24-28, the production will now play on April 29, May 1 and close May 2. After ten minutes of live ticket sales, the show sold out its' original six-performance run. 

Every year during Spring Break, Roanoke Children's Theatre hosts a Spring Break Camp where youth actors will learn, rehearse and perform an entire production in just one week. This year's Spring Break/RCTKidsOnStage production will be THE LITTLE MERMAID, JR. and will take the stage April 19 and 20 at the Scottish Rite Auditorium (622 Campbell Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016).

Playwright Jon Klein will join the director and members of the cast of the current hit comedy Resolving Hedda for a post-show talkback on Saturday, March 30. The talkback, free to ticket holders, will begin at 5:00 pm, immediately following the Saturday matinee performance. 

Virginia Stage Company brings to life National Latino Playwriting Award winner Karen Zacharias poignant modern comedy, Native Gardens. This production will mark the first time that Virginia Stage has staged a production with multiple Latinx characters in leading roles.

The Centre for the Less Good Idea is announcing a collection of outstanding collaborative and interdisciplinary works for SEASON 5 scheduled to take place between 24 and 28 April 2019.
