Samantha Shepherd is an avid lover of the arts who has been involved in theatre and dance for as long as she can remember. Doing theatre in high school and taking dance lessons since she could walk, of course she wanted to pursue performing in college. She is now working towards a BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is involved in theatre across Texas, acting and choreographing frequently. She loves delving into all forms of art and is excited about the opportunities she will be presented with by being a part of the ever-growing Broadway World team.

I was lucky enough to experience IMPRINT Theatreworks inaugural production of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross at Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas, TX. What a thrill! As soon as I walked into the door, I was surrounded by the feeling of love and encouragement for this cast, crew and artistic team and their new venture. Creating art is such a passionate and spiritual experience and you could just sense that the minds involved with IMPRINT Theatreworks are definitely on the right track.

THE GREAT DISTANCE HOME is quite possibly the greatest theatre experience I have ever had. Kelsey Leigh Ervi, her cast and creative team left me completely speechless and in awe with this new devised work. The piece came out of the question, 'What does it mean to go home?'. In a previous interview with The Dallas Observer, it was stated that the piece was not to be done until it opened on the first of December, but you would not believe that from the final product.
