Russell Warne has reviewed live theatre since 2006 and has been a member of the American Theatre Critics Association since 2012. From 2010 to 2024, he reviewed theatre for Utah Theatre Bloggers Association, where he eventually served as president of the organization. Before becoming a critic, he was a performer, music director, technical crew member, and playwright. In his day job, he is a research psychologist. When he's not reviewing theatre, he keeps busy by raising four children.
