Universal Studios Hollywood Presents All New Halloween Horror Nights Beginning 10/2

Auditions were held today for the ?Rocky Horror Picture Show: A Tribute,? which joins the four new maze experiences, four new ?scare zones,? new ?Terror Tram? backlot experience, and new ?Bill and Ted?s Excellent Halloween Adventure? production, that represent the re-imagining of Halloween Horror Nights for 2009 at Universal Studios HollywoodSM. The stage is now set for the most intense and impactful ?live? horror event ever to be presented in a theme park environment.

From September 24 to 26, 2009, the Joan B. Kroc Institute of Peace & Justice is presenting a three-day event to highlight the ability of the arts to transform individuals and reconcile communities who have suffered conflict and violence. Titled Bearing Exquisite Witness, the festival will showcase playwrights, filmmakers, poets, musicians, visual artists and academics from the fields of theater arts and conflict resolution who are using the creative power of art to raise awareness, prevent violence, help communities recover, change policies of exclusion and heal trauma.

REDCAT Set To Present The World Premiere Of AH! 9/16-18

This September, REDCAT (Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater) transforms its flexible performance space into an immersive visual and sonic environment for the world premiere of AH!, a co-production of The Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts and the CalArts Center for New Performance. AH! opens Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at REDCAT and runs for a limited engagement through Friday, September 18, 2009.

Cape Rep Theatre announces the final addition to the 2009 Indoor Theatre Season. A Class Act, the Broadway musical features music and lyrics by Edward Kleban and book by Linda Kline and Lonny Price.
