CENTERSTAGE's historic 50th Anniversary Season officially kicks off with AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, directed by Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah, in a landmark production that takes Arthur Miller's translation of Ibsen's classic and uses it to examine the contemporary media landscape. The production begins previews September 19 and opens September 27.

Asolo Repertory Theatre presents its New Stages Tour, an FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training production of MACBETH, from the play by William Shakespeare. This 60-minute adaptation includes post show discussions at each performance. Performances can be scheduled by contacting the Education & Outreach staff at Asolo Rep. Special Opening Night public performances in the Cook Theatre will be held on October 4 at 6:00 pm & 8:30 pm with a reception between performances, which is included in the ticket price.

By popular demand, an additional week of performances has been added to the previously announced run of cult sensation DINA MARTINA in DINA MARTINA: AMPLE WATTAGE at The Laurie Beechman Theater. Performances, which begin Sept. 20, have now been extended thru Sept. 30th.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES at Hanover Tavern on September 14 and running through November 4. Adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel by Stephen Canny and John Nicholson and directed by Gary C. Hopper, this hysterical farce features three actors playing over twenty roles from Doyle's most famous Sherlock Holmes story. This classic thriller kicks off the Barksdale Season with howling laughter.

Genet's menacing and hilarious world of political intrigue, violent revolution and distorted eroticism is measured against the mass-media manipulation of today. THE BALCONY will run from October 11 to November 4 at The Arclight Theatre located at 152 West 71st Street. It will be presented by Horizon Theatre Rep. Showtimes are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 3:00 pm.

The groundbreaking and internationally acclaimed Connecticut-based dance company Pilobolus will be putting on a free, outdoor performance at Riverfront Recapture's stage on the banks of the Connecticut River at the Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in downtown Hartford for the 7th year in a row. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will take place at 7:30 pm. on September 22, 2012.

The Instituto Cervantes New York, The Consulate General of Spain & The Embassy of Spain in the US present Young Architects in Spain: A Window to the Unknown, an exhibit featuring a selection of projects by young architects of Spain. The exhibit takes place at Instituto Cervantes New York, 211 E 49th Street, NYC, from today, September 5-18, 2012. Gallery hours are as follows: Monday through Friday from 9am to 8.30pm and Saturday from 9am to 2:30pm. Entry to the exhibit is free but RSVP is recommended to attend today, September 5.

BROADWAY BALLYHOO is now in its 9th Smash Month! It features different Stars, different show tunes, and a different show every Thursday night! This Thursday, August 30th, the show celebrates the Blue Moon that arrives at midnight, just as the show ends! Also, it serves as a farewell to Jessica Poli, leaving Feinstein's after this show!
