On Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from 4-7 pm, Miffy, Spider-man, Curious George, Biscuit the Dog, Peter Rabbit, and Danny's Dinosaur are among the characters who will greet thousands of costumed children as they arrive at the American Museum of Natural History to celebrate Halloween.

Cool mornings have arrived in the River Region as the season turns to fall, but the laughter is still warm at rehearsals for the Wetumpka Depot Player's upcoming comedy, SEEING STARS IN DIXIE. Set in 1956 Natchez, Mississippi, Hollywood stars Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift have arrived to film Raintree County.

With this new money the theater will be presenting shows unlike any seen at Totem Pole in the past and for the first time in over 40 years it will offer a seven show season. Three comedies and four musicals, one with a cast of over 30 performers.

Hugh Cornwell starts his UK tour this evening at the Carlisle Brickyard. The concerts will be divided into two sets, the first will feature his brand new studio album TOTEM AND TABOO, and the second will see Hugh playing The Stranglers' seminal 1977 second album NO MORE HEROES in its entirety, with keyboards added to the lineup.
