Sufjan Stevens is set to hit the road for an extensive North American tour in fall 2010. The performances will feature fully realized versions of the songs initially debuted during a late 2009 tour of small clubs in which Stevens workshopped several works-in-progress.

This year is no different at The Kennedy Theatre in Raleigh, NC. Kennedy will make a return to the stage as 'Emma' in Tell Me on a Sunday. The show will not only hit the Raleigh stage but also play a limited engagement at the new Lauren Kennedy and Alan Campbell Theatre at Barton College in Wilson, NC, which officially opened last September.
Berkeley's Aurora Theatre Company announces the directors for the company's sixth Global Age Project (GAP) festival of new works: Aurora Theatre Company Artistic Director chose Allen McKelvey, M. Graham Smith, Jonathan Spector, and Tracy Ward to sit on this year's GAP Director's Council. Over the next several weeks, the directors, along with Ross, will select finalists from an international pool of play submissions dealing with global age concerns. Four plays will be chosen to be presented as staged readings during the GAP festival, scheduled for February of 2011. The GAP festival will coincide with the company's fully-staged World Premiere of 2010 GAP finalist Allison Moore's new comedy, COLLAPSE, the second main stage production to develop from the GAP.
Katselas Theatre Company extends ENGAGEMENT, a World Premiere dramatic comedy written and directed by Allen Barton and produced by Gary Grossman. Performances will continue Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 7PM, until September 19.
