ID announced today that it would be renewing the hit new series Murder Under the Friday Night Lights for a sophomore season ahead of its first season finale. The riveting freshman series offers a fascinating and stirring look at just what happens when the local high school football team is the lifeblood of a community… and real blood is spilled.

This brutal crime set off a chain of events that would expose a scheme involving Pam Hupp. The series stars Renée Zellweger, Josh Duhamel, Judy Greer, and more.

In this half-hour comedy, Broadway star and notorious narcissist Richard Bean (Kevin Kline) suffers a spectacular public meltdown, and returns to his tiny hometown and the family-run theater where he first became aware of his own brilliance.
