BroadwayWorld caught up with Katy Perry to discuss PLAY, her new music, and the possibility of Perry ever appearing on Broadway.

DeBose will play 'Calyspo' in the new feature, alongside Aaron Taylor Johnson in the title role. The character of 'Calypso' is described as a magic potion-using 'voodoo priestess' who is the partner and lover of Kraven. The character initially appeared in the Spider-Man comics in the 1980s is an enemy to Spider-Man.

William Jackson Harper, Skyler Gisondo, Ben Sinclair and Parvesh Cheena have also been added to the ensemble series, along with previously announced series leads including Luis Gerardo Méndez, Nina Bloomgarden, Gabriela Cartol and recurring guest stars Debby Ryan, Dylan Baker, Michael Hitchcock and Becky Ann Baker.  

Lohan will also star in the upcoming Netflix holiday romcom, Falling for Christmas. In the film, Lohan plays an engaged hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.

The movie stars Ginna Claire Mason (Wicked), Tony Award-nominated Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill), Ann-Margret (Carnal Knowledge), and Eve Plumb (“The Brady Bunch”).
