Singer-songwriter and multi-talented musician Jonah Kagen releases new single “Turbulence.' Sparse and moonlit, “Turbulence” is yet another example of Kagen’s penchant for composing an earworm of a song that also touches the heart. The single was co-written by Joe Janiak (Lewis Capaldi, Snakehips, MØ, Avicii, Tove Styrke, Sigrid).

The band will be performing full versions of their best-known album, Dub Side of the Moon – their beloved reggae re-interpretation of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album –along with well-known tracks from their other tribute albums: Radiodread, Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band, and Easy Star’s Thrillah.

South African R&B songstress Elaine shares her first single of 2022, “Shine”. Formed in 2009, the current five-piece is Andy Platts (vocals), Terry Lewis (guitar), Dave Oliver (keys), Chris Boot (drums) and Cameron Dawson (bass). Wees wrote “Lonely” with Patrick Pyke Salmy, Ricardo Muñoz and Hight, who collaborated with her on “Girls Like Us,” which was highlighted in this feature from Dusty Springfield and Otis Redding onward, in the “Music Issue” of The New York Times Magazine. Salmy and Muñoz produced “Lonely” and Serban Ghenea mixed the song.
