Beanie Feldstein sat down with Stephen Colbert last night to discuss playing the iconic role of Fanny Brice in the new Broadway revival of Funny Girl. Feldstein discussed the legacy of Fanny Brice, working with Ramin Karimloo, and the note that she received from Barbra Streisand before she beginning performances.

The film follows the tale of Audrey, an enthusiastic Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor at a beloved, financially beleaguered community center in quaint Mistletoe, Montana.

Norm Lewis will join Samantha Mathis, Matt Passmore, Floriana Lima, Abhi Sinha, and Dave Annable as series regulars in the new series. The series was created and written by Dean Georgaris and will be directed by Richard Shepard. Georgaris, John Fox, and John Davis will serve as executive producers.

Peacock announced today the straight-to-series order of BASED ON A TRUE STORY, a dark comedic thriller from Emmy Award-nominated Craig Rosenberg (The Boys, LOST, Preacher).  Rosenberg will serve as writer, showrunner and executive producer. Jason Bateman (Ozark, The Outsider) will executive produce alongside Michael Costigan for Aggregate Films.
