Don Giovanni Records has just released the new single from Lee Bains + The Glory Fires titled '(In Remembrance Of The) 40-Hour Week' across all streaming platforms and Bandcamp. It is the second single to be released ahead of the album titled Old-Time Folks, which was produced in Athens, GA by David Barbe (Drive-By Truckers, Sugar, Son Volt).

Presented by Frontier Touring, the Victorian Government and ALWAYS LIVE, the December 10 concert will set Melbourne buzzing with a phenomenal 52% of ticket buyers from outside of metropolitan Melbourne and 42% from outside of Victoria. The concert is expected to bring millions of dollars in revenue to the state of Victoria.

The video sees animated imagery and blasts of fuzzy static nod to the band’s DIY sensibilities. Reminiscent of a cut-and-paste punk zine plucked straight from the 1970s, the video sees two floating heads and hand-drawn, cataclysmic visuals put to music as The Velvet Hands deliver a broiling barrage of live-ready rock riffs.
