It’s 2022 and Richard X. Heyman is releasing 67,000 Miles An Album. The disc is a collection of brand-new songs mixed with some from a few years back,produced by Heyman, recorded at his home Kit Factory studio with drums recorded at Eastside Sound in NYC. The earlier compositions were written for The Doughboys.

The half-hour series is directed by Yuji Nara with script and original concept by amphibian. The animation studio is Akatsuki. The series joins a growing roster of original anime productions from Adult Swim, including Fena: Pirate Princess, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Shenmue The Animation, new seasons of FLCL, and the highly anticipated Uzumaki.

Mura Masa has shared a remix of his track, “Blessing Me,” featuring Grammy-winning artist Kali Uchis. The original version of the track, which debuted in May as a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record and has topped charts in Jamaica since its release, features rising Jamaican rapper Skillibeng and Gambian-British breakout star Pa Salieu.
