Billy Porter will be back in New Orleans for his fourth year co-hosting New Year's Rockin' Eve. BroadwayWorld caught up with Porter to discuss what audiences can expect from this year's countdown. He also discuss his projects for the new year, including new music and his production company, his goals for 2023, and returning to Broadway.

“World News Tonight with David Muir” ranked as the No. 1 program of the week in Total Viewers (8.903 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.562 million) on all of broadcast and cable (excluding sports) during the week of Dec. 19, 2022, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.

The Emmy Award winning special program will be syndicated and air across 14 Nexstar markets (including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Sacramento, Portland, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Fresno and Honolulu amongst others) and counting down to midnight across all four times zones. 

The show featured Chita Rivera, Big Bird, Patti LaBelle, Garth Brooks, Ariana DeBose, Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Julia Roberts, Mickey Guyton, and more honoring George Clooney, Amy Grant, Gladys Knight, Tania León, and U2, comprised of band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.

East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA), one of the longest running independent pro wrestling promotions in the United States, and home to one of the most recognizable independent tournaments, the ECWA Super 8 Tournament, is coming to the Premier Streaming Network (PSN).

During the week of Dec. 12, 2022, Monday’s broadcast of “Tamron Hall” (on 12/12/22) marked the show’s highest-rated telecast on any day since May 2021 in Households (0.9 rating) – since Friday, 5/14/21. Monday was also the show’s 2nd-most-watched of the season (1.222 million Total Viewers).

Tuesday’s telecast of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” (on 12/13/21) marked the show’s strongest telecast  on any day in Total Viewers (2.753 million) and Women 25-54 (0.8 rating) since its post-Oscars® special in March – since Monday, 3/28/22. In addition, Tuesday’s broadcast tied a single-day season high in Households (1.8 rating).

BELLATOR 290: Bader vs. Fedor 2 will be headlined by undisputed Heavyweight World Champion Ryan Bader (30-7, 1 NC) defending his title in a rematch against MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko (40-6, 1 NC). The BELLATOR 290 main card will also include an explosive welterweight contest between Sabah Homasi (17-10) and BELLATOR standout Brennan Ward (16-6).

ROADSHOW kicks off the season on a high note in Woodside, CA with a rare 1960s viola that was purchased directly from renowned maker Ansaldo Poggi in a moment of happenstance during a trip to Italy.  After years of playing, the guest is shocked to learn the instrument is one of only 41 made.

Irina Maleeva (The Merchant of Venice) is set to recur on the show, along with Christopher Stanley (Mad Men), W Earl Brown (The Book of Boba Fett), and Josh Pais (The Dropout), while James Remar (Yellowstone), Paul Ben-Victor (Pam & Tommy) and Hilda Boulware (Modern Family) are set for guest-starring roles.

Beginning in January, the primetime lineup includes season two of the popular Spanish-language drama LA OTRA MIRADA, the return of fan favorites MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE ON MASTERPIECE and ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL ON MASTERPIECE, and the highly anticipated third season of the murder mystery VIENNA BLOOD.

Leading up to the release of her new album, Ava Max is taking to TikTok to share new previews of upcoming songs. The album features production by Henry Walter (Miley Cyrus, Maroon 5), Mathew James Burns (Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande), Sean Douglas (Lizzo), Peter Rycroft (Little Mix, Becky Hill), and Pablo Bowman (Jonas Brothers, Anne-Marie).
