Michael Major

Michael Major is a Connecticut native and a graduate of Marist College.

After starting out running social media for a theatre company, his love of pop culture led him to intern at TigerBeat Media. After also writing for organizations like PopCrave, uInterview, and Talk Radio NYC, Michael began as BroadwayWorld's entertainment editor in August of 2021.

Growing up watching movie musicals like Hairspray and Little Shop of Horrors on repeat, Michael is an expert on television and film. His love of the film industry has carried over to his work at BroadwayWorld, working with major networks like NBC, ABC, FOX and more to cover Broadway stars taking over the big screen.

He also frequently works with companies like Netflix, Disney, Apple, and Universal to bring exclusive clips and interviews from Broadway-related releases to readers. Stay tuned for the latest news on movies like Wicked, Mean Girls, The Color Purple, and more!
