As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dolly Parton’s “Coat of Many Colors,” vocalist Staci Griesbach honors the global songwriting and performing icon with 'My Dolly Parton Songbook', a Digital 45 release reimagining two of Parton’s classics, the title track and 'Here You Come Again'.  

The 17-minute single features Kimberlé Crenshaw, Janelle Monáe, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Chlöe x Halle, Tierra Whack, Isis V., Zoë Kravitz, Brittany Howard, Asiahn, Mj Rodriguez, Jovian Zayne, Angela Rye, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Brittany Packnett Cunningham and Alicia Garza.

The song’s official lyric video, which is available now, features handwritten lyrics from both groups, in both English and Korean. Coldplay have also teased the song’s Dave Meyers-directed official music video, as “coming very soon”.

An ode to long-distance love, the song comes alongside a beautifully raw and intimate official video directed by frequent collaborator Gus Black. Speers describes it as the lovechild of Bruce Springsteen and Carly Rae Jepsen.
