In the highly-anticipated sequel, Bette Midler reunites with her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker (“Sex and the City,” “Divorce”), and Kathy Najimy (“Sister Act,” “Younger”) as they return to their roles as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary, the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters who bewitched audiences in the 1993 film “Hocus Pocus.”

Today, JUNO nominated, alternative-pop band Valley share the retro-inspired music video for “Last Birthday” through Capitol Records. Shot on 16mm film, the video was directed by Dylan Mitro (The Zolas, Amaal, BabyGirl) and is reminiscent of a ‘70s romcom that radiates with the endearing chemistry which is so signature to the band.

Chicago indie quintet The Walters made their television debut last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performing “I Love You So.” The quintet s made of Luke Olson [lead vocals, guitar], Walter Kosner [lead guitar], MJ Tirabassi [rhythm guitar, vocals], Danny Wells [bass], and Charlie Ekhaus [drums].

Pop singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and recent Elektra Records signee Jake Scott will open for indie hitmaker Ben Rector on The Joy of Music: Live U.S. tour this summer, which kicks off on Thursday, May 5 in Madison, Wisconsin. Nathan Leigh is a composer, writer, animator, and activist. He has composed music and designed sound for over 300 plays at theatres across the country. With Kyle Jarrow, Nathan co-created the musicals Big Money (WTF Boris Segall Fellowship 2008) and The Consequences (World Premiere 2012 at WHAT).

Produced by Sarona and Jerry Brown, the album features Andrew Marlin (Mandolin Orange, Watchhouse), Libby Rodenbough (Mipso), Sarah McCombie (Chatham Rabbits) and Lizzy Ross (Violet Bell) on harmonies, as well as Hank Smith on banjo, Marcel Ardans on guitar, Alex Bingham on bass, and Jason Cecil on percussion.
