She celebrated the album’s release with a concert at Joe’s Pub on May 6th. In her night off from starring as President Woodrow Wilson in Suffs, she shared some songs from the intricate new album.

Carney blessed the audience with a one-man-band performance, playing many original songs as well as fan favorites and some insane covers.

Jay Armstrong Johnson’s I Put a Spell on You is returning to Sony Hall this year on October 23, benefiting the Ali Forney Center, an organization dedicated to protecting LGBTQ+ youth from homelessness.
