Hack, Punt, Tool is an original musical written by current MIT students and recent alums about a group of MIT students who are working together to build a hack. The story follows the adventures of a freshman, Billy Rogers, who wants to become a hacker so he can be hardk0re. As the campus police, romantic entanglements, and old misunderstandings challenge the success of the hack, the hackers learn to trust in their friends and discover what's really important about life at MIT.

Josiah Theatre Works presents the world premiere of MORE THAN A DREAM, written and directed by Nickolas Long, III. The production opens on February 26th.

Recently founded Harbor Stage Company plans to take up residence at the iconic theater on Wellfleet Harbor in Summer 2012. The newly minted ensemble includes longtime Well?eet theater artists Amanda Collins, Jonathan Fielding, Stacy Fischer, Lewis Wheeler, and Brenda Withers, and will be led by Artistic Director Robert Kropf.

On February 16, 2012 Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) will reunite with its first Music Director Sir Roger Norrington as part of its acclaimed three-concert Orchestra Series at Carnegie Hall. A leading figure in the movement for historically informed performance, Norrington will bring his keen perspective to a program of late-18th century works by three great masters of the Viennese Classical era: Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. A day-of-performance student rush for a limited number of orchestra pit seats will take place daily for Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT, playing at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts from January 31 - February 5.

The internationally acclaimed Elisa Monte Dance returns to the New York stage to premiere their brand new 2012 season at The Ailey Citigroup Theatre (at the Joan Weill Center for Dance/405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue) and will present another exhilarating season of dance featuring the New York premieres of 'Unstable Ground," with commissioned music by Lois Vierk; "In Absentia" featuring new music by Kevin Keller; and "Outside In" with original music by Ben Doyle, as well as a revival performance of "Pigs and Fishes" and an excerpt from "Amor Fait" on Thursday, April 12th (8PM) for a limited engagement scheduled through April 14th.

The Seattle Opera's production of ATTILA must close Saturday January 28th. Tickets are still available for performances on Wednesday January 25th as well as the closing performance.

The Theatre @ Boston Court and Theatre Movement Bazaar present 'The Treatment," a world premiere adaptation of Anton Chekhov's short story titled "Ward 6." The play is conceived by Richard Alger + Tina Kronis, written by Alger, directed and choreographed by Kronis.
