Mary Best

Mary Best Mary Best has a lifelong relationship with theater, from dancing to stage managing to writing and blogging about it in college. A 2013 St. Bonaventure University grad, she works as a reporter for Bee Newspapers in Buffalo and a Social Media Intern for Schmackary's Cookies, and started covering college theater for BroadwayWorld since October 2012. A lifelong Buffalo resident, Mary's dream came true when she moved to NYC in spring 2014 to work for Signature Theatre Company (and win a Tony!). She keeps a short haircut and guitar handy for the day she (finally) plays Maria Von Trapp in the Sound of Music, and she’s Raúl Esparza’s biggest fan.
