Yvonne Arnaud Theatre is set to host a charity event, Supper with the Stars on May 13. The event is holding an online silent auction paired with the event, and one of the items available for bidding is a painting by Judi Dench.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) has announced the cast and creative team for Brokeback Mountain, the North American premiere production of Ashley Robinson’s adaptation of the novella by Annie Proulx that inspired the Academy Award-winning film.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the projects for its DNA New Work Series which will take place at the end of May, showcasing four new works. This series has launched numerous projects that have gone on to full productions in Playhouse seasons.

Birdland Jazz Club will host the return of Jeff Harnar in his show The 1959 Broadway Songbook. Harnar will be joined by his music director Alex Rybeck, in addition to Tom Hubbard on bass and Dan Gross on drums. 

The Middletown Arts Center, in conjunction with Dunbar Repertory Company, is set to produce August Wilson’s Seven Guitars, directed by Mark Antonio Henderson.  Seven Guitars is a play by August Wilson set in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in 1948.

The Opera Company of Middlebury’s season finale begins with a new production of La Traviata.  Artistic Director Douglas Anderson has previously directed La Traviata for the company in semi-staged form. This time, Anderson sets the opera in the 1920s.

Simon Amstell has announced a UK tour of his latest stand-up show ‘I Love It Here’. The run of shows in major UK cities will see Amstell visit Bristol, Edinburgh, Cambridge, London, Nottingham, Brighton and Salford.

Lucille Lortel Theatre to host memorial for stage director Mark Brokaw. Featuring appearances by Douglas Carter Beane, Santino Fontana, Robyn Goodman, David Grimm, Kenneth Lonergan, Mary-Louise Parker, Sam Pinkleton, Amy Ryan, and Paula Vogel.

The Theater Project’s 2026 New Play Readings series will present a staged reading of Jack McGrath’s House Rules, a play inspired by The Odyssey. Reading will take place at Cranford Community Center’s theater presented by The Theater Project.

Riverside Studios has announced the world premiere of RON, a genre-defying new solo show written and performed by Ted Walliker, running in Studio 2 at the Hammersmith venue. RON marks the first in-house co-production from Riverside Studios.

The Alhambra Theatre & Dining has announced the return of the Tony Award-winning musical 1776, running this spring. The Alhambra last produced 1776 in 2018.

Oakland Theater Project has announced their third production in its 2026 Season. A new adaptation of Federico García Lorca's 'The House of Bernarda,' adapted by Chay Yew and directed by OTP Executive Artistic Director Michael Moran.

The inaugural HTX Contemporary Dance Festival, hosted by Houston Contemporary Dance Company, is a two day showcase of contemporary dance designed to bring Houston’s arts community together.

Aperture Duo – featuring violinist Adrianne Pope and violist Linnea Powell – will showcase theatrical chamber music in a concert of contemporary works for violin and viola that includes performance art and improvisation.

A.C.T. of Connecticut will close its 2025–2026 season with the  Broadway musical, Dear Evan Hansen. The production will star Kenny Lee as Evan Hansen.
