Don't expect a dusty airing of William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors in Randolph Academy Presents' A GLASS HIVE at the 2016 Toronto Fringe Festival. Stratford, Broadway, and Dora Award-winning theatre vet Bruce Dow gives the classic comedy a makeover in his contemporary adaptation, which runs June 29-July 10 in the Annex Theatre.

There are just three weeks left to see Game of Thrones star Kit Harington on stage in the title role of Doctor Faustus at the Duke of York's Theatre, London. Directed by Jamie Lloyd, this anarchic production of Christopher Marlowe's masterwork, with two acts written by Colin Teevan, must end Saturday 25th June.

The final two shows in the Royal Court Theatre's 60th year were announced today: pre-industrial England-set THE SEWING GROUP by E V Crowe, directed by Stewart Laing in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, 10 November-22 December; and THE CHILDREN by Lucy Kirkwood, directed by James Macdonald in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, 17 November-14 January 2017.

This summer The Old Vic Community Company presents RISE. 200 Londoners will take over a brand new pop-up venue on Waterloo Millennium Green to present a kaleidoscope of ideas, discussions and stories that distil into a human, personal story exploring our relationship with the environment. Renowned star of stage and screen Maureen Lipman makes a welcome return to panto this year as the Wicked Fairy in Richmond Theatre's spectacular seasonal offering SLEEPING BEAUTY! Joining her, after two hugely successful pantomimes at Richmond, will be CBeebies presenter Chris Jarvis, returning for a third year in a row due to overwhelming popular demand, in the role of Chester the Jester. Sleeping Beauty runs December 2-January 8, 2017, with press night on December 8.

Buddy Guy will be taking the stage at the Morrison Center Monday, August 22nd at 7:30 pm. Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago's fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city's halcyon days of electric blues. Buddy Guy has received 7 GRAMMY Awards, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award, 34 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, a Kennedy Center Honor, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #23 in its '100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.'

Four acclaimed female choreographers, Elisa Monte, Molissa Fenley, Margo Sappington, and Jennifer Muller join forces this spring in Monte/Molissa/Margo/Muller - LIVE! at New York Live Arts, June 14 through June 18. The five-night program of shared performances will feature five works each evening, with three premieres and a cast of 25 dancers.
