Last night, September 23, the stars of Memphis were honored with a Wall of Fame painting at Tony di Napoli's restaurant to kick off the new Broadway season and celebrate the cast's one year anniversary on Broadway. The painting was created by Dan May. Valerie Smaldone produced and emceed the event, which was hosted by Tony di Napoli's Bruce Dimpflmaier.

Last night, September 20th the Bleecker Street Theater Company presented a reading of Charles Messina's new Broadway-bound comedy, A ROOM OF MY OWN as part of that theater's Play Development Series. Broadway's Bianca Marroquin (In the Heights, Chicago) spearheaded 'To Mexico From New York with Love,' a one-night-only benefit concert last night, September 1, at the Merkin Concert Hall in the Kaufman Center. Last night, August 5, the ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast and members of the newly announced touring cast partied together at BB Kings in Times Square to live 80's tunes by Lipstick & Leather, in addition to additional rock band cover singers. Yesterday, May 11th film producer Ted Kurdyla took over the off-Broadway theatre 45 Bleecker Street to present a reading of Vincent Gogliormella and Charles Messina's screenplay ‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE A BROOKLYN CHRISTMAS. The event was geared towards the many members of the industry that have expressed interest in the very buzzed about comedy. Both film and Broadway investors were in attendance.
