LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT announce the complete cast as they present pure 'electricity' with the third show of their 2014-2015 season, the Southern California Regional Premiere of the ten-time Tony Award-winning musical, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, musical direction by John Glaudini, choreography by Dana Solimando and directed by Brian Kite. BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL will preview on Friday, January 16, 2015 (with a press opening on Saturday, January 17) and run through Sunday, February 8, 2015 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

Back by popular demand, go "under the sea" as Tuacahn presents Disney's Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical. This stage adaptation of the beloved Academy Award-winning 1989 film comes to life at Tuacahn in a magnificent stage production the entire family will enjoy. Tuacahn will be one of the first regional theatres in the country to present this updated version of Disney's The Little Mermaid, with new orchestrations which have enhanced this fabulous production.

"Follow the Yellow Brick Road' and see The Wizard of Oz at Tuacahn. Dorothy and her little dog Toto join with Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion as they journey through the magical Land of Oz to meet the Wizard. The Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys do their best to prevent them from reaching the Emerald City.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment presented the fifth and final production in its 2013-1014 season of shows with the Los Angeles regional theatre premiere of one of the most beloved musicals of all time, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, the Tony award-winning, LES MISERABLES. On Saturday, April 26 on Sound Stage 19 at CBS Studio Center in Studio City, CA, Celebration Theatre's Vibrant Voice Awards benefit event raised $40,000 for the non-profit theatre, now in its 31st year. The evening featured original 'Golden Girl' Betty White along with her Hot in Cleveland co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick reading an episode of The Golden Girls (“Blanche and the Younger Man”). The 2014 Vibrant Voice Awards were presented to Wendie Malick and Robert Forster, and there were special appearances by Sean Hayes, Tracie Thoms, Dan Lauria, Tim Daly, Max Greenfield, Millicent Martin, and Mary Wilson (of the original Supremes). The evening was hosted by Michael Burger.

On April 22, 2014, the Broadway stars of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon came together and joined an amazing line-up for Ryan Black's 88's THE SONGS OF BOUBLIL & SHONBERG, LES MIS SAIGON.
