According to the NY Post, Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson is asking a federal court to protect her from a copyright dispute with playwright Gregory Murphy over her screenplay 'Effie.' The screenplay is about the scandalous marriage of Victorian-era critic John Ruskin and his young wife, Effie Gray.

Oak Park Festival Theatre Announces Its New Summer Classics Workshop

Registration is underway for the all new four-week Summer Classics Workshop at Oak Park Festival Theatre beginning June 20, 2011. There will be one session for middle school students and one for high school students. Students will learn about the classics in Austin Gardens where Festival Theatre performs its shows.

My script is about an the journey of an obsessed Kings fan, as the team threatens to leave town. So, I need to find a people who would be interested in volunteering to help me make this film over the summer, to begin as soon as possible, as I need a crew together by early June.
