THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, winner of 6 Tony Awards, will makes it's Canadian debut on January 30 by the Acting Up Stage Theater Company. The show will perform Jan. 30-Feb. 21 at the Berkeley Street Theatre Downstairs in Toronto.

British singer and actor John Barrowman, currently starring in the New Theater in Cardiff's Robin Hood: The Pantomime, will release his third solo album in the U.K. on February 22nd.

Kelli O'Hara, who has received three Tony nominations for her work in SOUTH PACIFIC, THE PAJAMA GAME, and THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, will perform two concerts in California later this month.

Broadway, television and recording star Sam Harris returns to Birdland for a one-night-only event on Monday, February 1st at 7pm. Tickets will be $30 for side seating and $40 for center seating.

Donal Donnelly, nominated for a Tony Award for his portrayal of Gar Private in the world premiere of Brian Friel's Philadelphia, Here I Come!, passed away on January 4,2010. Donnelly, 78, died from cancer in Chicago, where he has been living for two years.

Music Director Alan Gilbert will conduct the New York Philharmonic in the World Premiere of Christopher Rouse's 'Odna Zhizn' - a New York Philharmonic Commission- and two works by Mozart: the Sinfonia concertante for Winds, featuring Philharmonic musicians, and the Symphony No. 41, Jupiter. Performances will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, February 11, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 12, at 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m. Appearing in solo roles in the Sinfonia concertante will be Principal Oboe Liang Wang, Acting Principal Clarinet Mark Nuccio in his Philharmonic subscription solo debut, Principal Bassoon Judith LeClair, and Principal Horn Philip Myers.

The impressive technique and humor of the juggling duo, The Gizmo Guys, will be on display at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, in McLean's Alden Theatre. Part of the theatre's 2009-2010 McLean Kids Performance Series, the performance will be followed by a Tennis Ball Juggling Workshop at 3:30 p.m. Tickets to the show are $14, $10 for McLean tax district residents. The workshop is $10 per person. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

Jim Brochu, author and star of Off-Broadway's ZERO HOUR, is set to do a live interview on Westchester's WVOX Radio (1460 AM) this Wednesday, January 6th at 6:40 p.m. Brochu will discuss the creation of the play as well as his portrayal of theatre legend Zero Mostel with Dan Miller in the 'Spotlight on Theatre' segment on Miller's popular weekly talk show 'In Focus.' New York Governor David Paterson and Attorney General Andrew Cuomo both agree that WVOX is 'the most influential radio station in New York state.'
