The Cotuit Center for the Arts presents Summer Art and Theater Workshops for Children, Teens and Adults.

Cotuit Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Ghosts, at The Botello Box Performance Space; CCftA's latest offering from their ever expanding performance and exhibition complex.

On Monday, June 28th at 8pm, we invite you to join us for Adrian's latest live offering. It's a one-man-show, but a very different one-man-show: an electric guitar feast that demonstrates the latest technology with which Adrian has been working, and the new music it is helping to create. This is a brand new more personalized show which highlights music not normally played with King Crimson or the Power Trio. In addition, 30 lucky people will be able to purchase a VIP ticket, which will includes a meet and greet session with Adrian at a reception prior to the show and reserved seating.

The 2.5 hour match window (2:30-5:12 p.m. ET) averaged an 8.2 rating, 9,455,000 households, and 14,863,000 viewers, based on fast nationals.

Grab your pencils! Or laptops! The Barn Players Theater is holding its third annual 6x10 Play Festival on December 3-5 and we are looking for some great scripts. The Festival will produce six short plays, each roughly ten minutes in length and all by local writers. Tell us a great story in ten minutes and you'll get the chance to see your work performed on our stage.

Actor Dennis Haysbert recently joined the cast of David Mamet's Broadway play RACE. On June 25, he was interviewed on 'Today' and talked about the play. During the interview, Haysbert hinted that him and Mamet (playwright and director of RACE), may be looking to collaborate on a television project in the future.

Rockin' Off Mondays presents 'The Songs of Elton John' tonight, June 28 at 9:30 PM at The Duplex. The evening will feature the talents of Wesley Taylor (The Addams Family, Rock of Ages), Alex Brightman (Wicked), Celina Carvajal (Tarzan), Michael Buchanan (Cry-Baby) and Preston Sadleir.

The Second Annual Broadway Meows: a Benefit Concert for the Humane Society of New York will be presented at Don't Tell Mama, one night only, Monday, July 19th at 7pm. The evening will feature the songs of composer/ lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh. Swedish adult contemporary/jazz musician Anders Holst will be returning to Feinstein's on June 30th at 8:30pm. There he will perform selections from his upcoming album and previous releases, Romantika and Five, as well as smooth and jazzy interpretations of familiar classics by Van Halen, Michael McDonald, and the Doobie Brothers. Holst is a critically acclaimed musician whose sound has been compared to artists such as Robert Palmer, Leonard Cohen, and Sting. He has drawn accolades from fellow musicians such as Quincy Jones, and has earned such critical kudos as 'Anders Holst is a regal contender to become the new crowned prince of contemporary romantic music....'
