Laura Blatterman has taught dance on professional, educational, competition and performance levels, as well as holding seats on the Board of Directors for multiple non-profit organizations. As a dancer, Laura has toured and performed with acclaimed companies such as Luna Negra Dance Theatre, Ballet Magnificat, Piel Morena Contemporary Dance, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre and performed along side legendary companies such as Joffrey Ballet and The Seldoms. Laura is currently the Artistic Director for Advocate Arts, an arts organization reaching out to children caught in abuse and trafficking. She received the Dorothy Mullins Humanities Award for teaching dance to inner-city kids at risk. Laura has performed in a plethora of performances ranging from The Diary of Anne Frank to South Pacific. Her repertoire includes both traditional theatre, musical theatre, directing and improvisational theatre.
