Orleans Arena will host Christian music's largest tour, the 2011 Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, for a one-night-only concert event on Sunday, November 6 at 6 p.m. The extensive line-up includes Grammy®-nominated bands NewSong, RED and Fireflight, multiple GMA Dove award-winner KJ-52, as well as Newsboys, Kutless and Matthew West.

Long Wharf Theatre transforms into a cool Superhero Training School for its 5th Annual Discovery Day, a fun family open house event taking place at 9 am Saturday, Nov. 19 at Long Wharf Theatre, located at 222 Sargent Drive, New Haven. There is a suggested donation of $5 per family or $2 per person. All donations from this event will go towards funding a family friendly March production entirely adapted, produced, designed, and built by the Next Stage residents, early career professionals training in specific fields of theatre.

Over 2,700 students and 110 schools will participate in the 35th annual Shakespeare Competition hosted by the Utah Shakespeare Festival and Southern Utah University. From October 6 to 8 student thespians from across the Intermountain West will compete as actors, dancers and theatre technicians before panels of theatre and dance professionals in the largest scholastic Shakespeare competition in the country. A closing night awards ceremony will be held on October 8 at 7 p.m. at the Southern Utah University Centrum Arena.
