Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation to Unveil Six New Sculptures, 6/20June 4, 2012The Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation (NAHF) will unveil six new sculptures-on-loan at the award-winning E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park on June 20, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Artists will be on hand to answer questions about their pieces during a walking tour after the ceremony. The sculptures will remain in the park through May of 2013. The park is located at 11801 Community Center Drive; one-half mile south of 120th Avenue and Grant St. in Northglenn.
LCT3's SLOWGIRL Begins Performances TonightJune 4, 2012Previews begin tonight (June 4th) at 7 pm for the LCT3 production of Slowgirl, a new play by Greg Pierce, directed by Anne Kauffman and featuring Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele. This world premiere is the first production to be presented by LCT3 in its new home, The Claire Tow Theater, on the roof of Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Slowgirl will run for six weeks only through Sunday, July 15. All tickets are $20. Opening night is Monday, June 18 at 7pm.
North Carolina Symphony’s 'Fables for Families' Set for 6/16June 4, 2012The North Carolina Symphony welcomes all princesses and heroes, witches and wizards, fairy tale champions and fable-inspired villains to Cary's Booth Amphitheatre for "Fables for Families." Albert Stanaj Receives Stepinac High School's Bob Fitzsimmons Memorial ScholarshipJune 4, 2012The Bob Fitzsimmons Memorial Scholarship, this year, is being awarded to Albert Stanaj, a 2012 graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School. He has been demonstrating an interest in theatre since the age of 9. Albert would come to Stepinac with his parents to pick up his older brother who was in rehearsal for SOUTH PACIFIC. Besides running around the theatre chasing other cast members' little sisters, Albert became a student of the theatre at that time.
