Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. to discuss institutional cultural arts and disability issues. While the level of experience among participants ranged from more than 20 years in the field to less than six months on the job, everyone shared one common goal: the desire to create accessible cultural arts programs that are inclusive of people with disabilities and older adults.

National Endowment for the Arts Announces 2012 Our Town Grant RecipientsJuly 12, 2012The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announces 80 Our Town grant awards totaling $4.995 million and reaching 44 states and the District of Columbia. Cedar City's Office of Economic Development is one of the grantees and will receive up to $50,000 for landscape design, linking the Utah Shakespeare Festival with the city's historic downtown. The Festival will match the grant amount to help complete this project.
