Stage and screen star Mark Benton will lead the company of the award-winning musical comedy HAIRSPRAY when it embarks on a UK and Ireland tour next year. The multi-million production will officially open at Manchester's Lowry Theatre on Wednesday 13 February. Mark will play the larger than life Turnblad family matriarch Edna in the show, with further casting to be announced soon.

Rock legends The Moody Blues have announced their upcoming winter tour, "The Voyage Continues - Highway 45", will perform at Detroit's Fox Theatre on Tuesday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. The tour continues the celebration of the 45thAnniversary of their landmark album Days of Future Passed. The local performance is presented by Delta Air Lines.

The NYMF production of SWING STATE which stars Morgan Weed (currently in RENT at New World Stages, Saved and Next to Normal Off-Broadway) and Jed Resnick (Avenue Q on Broadway and currently in the Off-Broadway cast at New World Stages) begins its run at the 45th St. Theatre July 20th at 8pm. Set in Ohio, SWING STATE follows the unpredictable relationship that develops between Kindergarten teacher and Born Again Christian Bonnie (Weed) and her chiropractor Neil (Resnick), a gay atheist who arrives in Ohio fresh from New York City. The production has also added a performance to its NYMF run on Tuesday, 7/24 at 5pm.
