In honor of the grand opening of the Chicago club, the Laugh Factory is spreading its message that laughter is the best medicine by offering free admission for all of America's returning warriors to its four locations for an entire year.

The Film Society of Minneapolis St. Paul and the Guthrie today announced a new partnership that will link the two organizations in an ongoing series of film screenings and programming that will provide a new home for the popular filmed-theater series NT Live originating from the National Theatre of London, as well as films selected and curated by the Film Society inspired by the Guthrie's upcoming 2012-2013 season, its 50th. On Tuesday, August 21, families will once again experience Kids' Night on Broadway (KNOB) with the musical THE LION KING at The Fabulous Fox. Celebrating 80 Years, The Bergen County Players (BCP) presents The Music Man, a musical comedy and treasured piece of theater by Meredith Willson.
