The Utah Shakespeare Festival has a special quilt on display for the Block by Block: Stories of Common Threads exhibit at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum, which will run until December 31. The quilt was created by the Festival's first costume designer from the Festival's inaugural season in 1962.

Signature Theatre pulls some of DC's brightest stars into the spirit of the holidays with this year's original production of Holiday Follies. Tickets now on sale for Cirque Éloize iD, directed by Jeannot Painchaud and winner of the 26th Grand Prix du Conseil des Arts de Montréal for its exceptional international success in 2010. iD will run for eight shows at the Merriam Theatre from December 26th to 30th, 2012 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by the Kimmel Center and the Shubert Organization.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the Kindling Theater Company will now present its inaugural production, the world premiere of The Future Is Not What It Was, written by Michael Rabe and directed by Jay Stull, beginning Saturday, January 12 at 8pm. The production, formerly scheduled for The Wild Project, will instead be presented at Soho Rep's Walkerspace, 46 Walker Street. The new opening night is set for Monday, January 21 at 8pm.

This engaging musical adaptation is based on the classic novel, A Little Princess, by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Sara Crewe, heiress to a large fortune, is enrolled at Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Young Ladies in Victorian England. At first her life is happy, but news arrives that her father has died and her fortune is lost. Sara is forced to become a servant and must live in a small attic room that seems no better than a prison cell. When a mysterious gentleman from India takes the house next door, some strange and curious things begin to happen. A touching and beautiful score adds a magical touch to this enchanting show. This show is suitable for the whole family.

Pace University's Pace New Musicals program, dedicated to the discovery of new theater works, and Ryan Scott Oliver, composer-lyricist and producer, have selected I Capture the Castle by Marion Adler, Peter Foley and Cara Reichel, as its official 2013 selection. Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival out-of-competition sections Spotlight, Park City at Midnight and New Frontier, as well as the installations and performances to be featured in the Festival's New Frontier venue. The Festival takes place January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s hit production of SUPERIOR DONUTS will add three final weeks of performances - extending through December 31, 2012 at The Royal George Cabaret Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts and directed by Matt Miller, the critically acclaimed remount features nearly all of the original Mary-Arrchie cast members. A special New Year's Eve performance on Monday, December 31 at 8 pm will mark the show's final performance at The Royal George, where the remount enjoyed a two-month run, including two extensions.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is pleased to announce that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) awarded $25,000 to support the A.R.T. production of The Glass Menagerie. The A.R.T. is one of 832 non-profit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant.

The Colburn Chamber Music Society will present legendary musician, Arnold Steinhardt on Sunday, December 9 at 3:00pm Zipper Hall in Los Angeles. Steinhardt is a paramount figure in classical music as the first violinist and founding member of the iconic Guarneri String Quartet. A collection of some of the most important pieces of George Harrison and Beatles memorabilia ever to be offered at auction will be included in Bonhams forthcoming Entertainment Memorabilia sale on 12th December 2012. The collection, which has never been available to the general public, was gifted by George Harrison to his brother Harry and other members of the family.
