The movie event will include a trivia contest, a mini organ concert on The Orpheum's Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, and a vintage film short. Ladies are encouraged to wear their best little black dress and pearls for The Orpheum's Annual Little Black Dress Parade.

In addition, the ball will open with a fashion show by Diane Von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole. The Life Ball will be followed by an AIDS conference in Vienna, which will run from July 18 to July 23.
