The Orleans Arena hosts the finals for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship-an event commemorating the first ten years of Hip Hop International and celebrating the tenth World Hip Hop Dance Championship. More than two thousand of the world's top street dancers will come together for the finals. Defending World Champions from Japan and New Zealand will return for a chance to retain the title, gold medals and $25,000 in cash and prizes.

Guest conductor Charles Floyd will lead the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in a free concert in the Horizon Sanctuary at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. The concert, which celebrates a partnership between the Orchestra and the National Black Arts Festival that spans more than 20 years, is free and open to the public.

The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical of 2005, MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, will return to the fair city of Omaha for three performances Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Orpheum Theater. Chicago Dramatists, 1105 W. Chicago Ave., is proud to announce that Meghan Beals McCarthy has been hired as the theatre's new Associate Artistic Director. A director, dramaturg, arts administrator, and Associate Artist with Chicago Dramatists for several years, McCarthy was chosen after a nationwide search of over 80 applicants for the position. She will assume her position August 15.
