Tribeca Film Acquires North American Rights to THE COMEDYMay 14, 2012Tribeca Film announced today that it has acquired all North American rights to THE COMEDY, director Rick Alverson's provocative character study, which is already one of the most talked about films since it bowed at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Trisha Brown Dance Company's ASTRAL CONVERTED to Play Park Avenue ArmoryMay 11, 2012Park Avenue Armory will present Trisha Brown Dance Company's reconstruction of ASTRAL CONVERTED, a groundbreaking work by choreographer Trisha Brown in collaboration with Robert Rauschenberg (visual and costume design) and John Cage (original music) July 10th - 14th, 2012. The piece will be presented in its entirety for the first time in 18 years in Park Avenue Armory's soaring 55,000-square-foot Wade Thompson Drill Hall. The culminating work in Brown's Valiant Series, ASTRAL CONVERTED premiered at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. in 1991.

Noble St. Created by co-hosts Robbie Q. Telfer and Maney, THE ENCYCLOPEDIA SHOW explores a set theme and artists across disciplines, from spoken word to music, are invited to create a piece about that theme. The June 6 show will also feature an interview with one of the founders of string theory, Leonard Susskind. THE ENCYCLOPEDIA SHOW has now spread to 10 cities world-wide including New York, L.A., Austin, Seoul, Korea, and Berlin, Germany. The season finale on June 6 also celebrates the book debut of Maney's book of poetry 'I Love Science!'.
