Providing a rally call for national pride and unity for the 100th anniversary celebration of Veterans Day, pianist Peggy Duquesnel and organist Andre Mayeux will release “Keys to Glory” on November 9, a collection of songs of America, patriotic anthems, hymns, folk songs and three originals penned by the keyboardists. Included in the 17-track set produced by the pair is a rousing duet of “God Bless America,” to mark the centennial anniversary of the revered Irving Berlin treasure. For the past ten editions, the biennial BomPlenazo Festival (Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture; October 4-7, 2018) has celebrated the Puerto Rican culture of its Bronx home and created an internationally recognized space for Puerto Rico's vital Afro-Latin traditions, bomba and plena. This year, BomPlenazo features all Puerto Rico-based ensembles to support artists and their communities recovering from Hurricane Maria. With less than two weeks until opening night, organizers of the fourth annual GI Film Festival San Diego (Sept. 25-30, 2018) announce the titles nominated for this year's awards program. Pop rock trio HANSON announce the release date for their highly anticipated double-album String Theory, which is set for November 9, available at major retailers. Premiering exclusively with NPR Music is 'Siren Call,' the first full song and video from the String Theory project, featuring the band performing with a 46-piece Orchestra. String Theory dates are already slated to reach fans across North America this fall, with the first leg of international tour dates in Europe and Australia set to be announced later this month. The landmark symphonic project, follows the band's sold out 25th Anniversary World Tour in 2017.

The eight-episode drama series MY BRILLIANT FRIEND will debut SUNDAY, NOV. 18 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), with the second episode debuting MONDAY, NOV. 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT); other episodes will debut subsequent Sundays and Mondays at the same time.

21st Century Fox announced today that its Senior Executive Vice President, Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer Gerson Zweifach will step down following the close of the Company's transaction with The Walt Disney Company.  Once the transaction is complete, anticipated in the first half of 2019, Mr. Zweifach will return to Williams & Connolly where he spent more than three decades prior to joining 21CF.
