Abbi and Ilana return for the final season of Broad City premiering on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. All-new episodes of Broad City will be followed by Comedy Central's brand-new half-hour scripted series, The Other Two. 

CBS All Access today announced a two-season order for STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS, a new half-hour animated comedy series developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (“Rick and Morty”). The series will focus on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet's least important ships and will be produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, CBS Television Studios' new animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Secret Hideout's Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin and Roddenberry Entertainment's Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth and Katie Krentz will serve as executive producers alongside McMahan. Aaron Baiers, who brought McMahan to the project, will serve as a co-executive producer.

Now in its 94th year, The Dessoff Choirs continues to wow audiences with its seasonal repertoire performed in some of New York City's most beautiful churches. This season's offerings include a sing-in of Handel's Messiah, contemporary arrangement of carols, and a rare performance of the nine-movement Christmas cantata The Ballad of the Brown King with music by African-American composer Margaret Bonds and text by writer Langston Hughes. (Program details are below.)

Los Angeles-Craft Recordings has confirmed plans to re-release the debut album from influential industrial rock band Filter. The platinum-selling Short Bus will be reissued on two vinyl configurations: black vinyl (available widely), plus a limited-edition white vinyl edition available only to indie record stores (1,000 available). Both have been mastered by George Horn and Anne-Marie Suenram at Fantasy Studios and pressed at Memphis Record Pressing.

Regal, a leading motion picture exhibitor operating one of the largest theatre circuits in the United States, celebrates the 25 th anniversary of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas with exclusive screenings from October 26 to October 31. FOX News will debut the new on-demand subscription-based service FOX Nation on Tuesday, November 27th, announced John Finley, Senior Vice President of Development & Production. The service will be priced at $5.99 a month or $64.99 per year. Additionally, FOX Nation will present an exclusive pre-sale initiative for consumers to become founding members of the service by purchasing limited edition packages beginning this Sunday, 30 days ahead of launch.

dick clark productions announced today that the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards” will bestow the “Hollywood Documentary Award” to Live Nation Productions' Believer, the story of Imagine Dragons' frontman Dan Reynolds as he comes to a crossroads when he witnesses fellow members of the Mormon church spurned due to their sexual orientation.  Reynolds, who also served as Executive Producer on the film, will be accepting the award at the ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, November 4 at The Beverly Hilton. As part of the ceremony, Reynolds, producer Tim Edgar and award-winning composer Hans Zimmer will also take the HFA stage to deliver a performance of Believer's empowering track “Skipping Stones.” The song is one of two original tracks that are featured in the documentary.  Reynolds teamed up with the film-score legend for this heartfelt track to promote change, love and acceptance of the LGBTQ community within the Mormon Church.

The 21st Annual Arpa International Film Festival (Arpa IFF), being held at Hollywood's historic Egyptian Theatre from November 2 to 4, has announced the lineup of 46 films from 17 countries being screened this year.
